Meeting Information/Directions

Kilkenny Toastmasters Club meets every second & fourth Tuesday of the month (except June – Aug). Meetings in St John's Parish Hall, Kilkenny R95 P448

 

Due to the rules of Toastmasters International, visitors must be aged 18 or over

 

What happens at Kilkenny Toastmasters?

The meeting starts at 8pm

The first half of the meeting, members will make prepared speeches and they will receive feedback from evaluators 

In the second half, we have Table Topics, an opportunity to take part in off-the-cuff speaking

 

Prepared Speeches

The first half of the meeting has members giving prepared speeches given by members who are working through the Toastmasters Pathways program. The speeches are then evaluated. The evaluations are always positive and encouraging and are supportive and inspire everyone at the meeting

 

Table Topics

The second half of the meeting, we have Table Topics, where members can speak on randomly chosen topics. Guests are encouraged to participate if interested. This is an opportunity for off-the-cuff speaking
